1. Wrong paving direction

In general, there will be a special brand logo and direction sign on the bottom of the tile. The direction sign can indicate the direction of the tile when the plasterer paves it. According to the direction sign, the tiling can make the surface texture of the tiles connect more smoothly, and ensure that the edge of each tile has a similar degree of warpage, and the tiling is relatively flat.

Many home decoration construction ignore the direction sign, do not follow the direction of the arrow to pave, it is easy to appear the situation of uneven joints at the corners.

2. Too thin brick joint

Customers do not know how to decorate, in order to pursue beauty, ceramic tiles are all laid seamlessly. In fact, almost every ceramic tile has subtle deviation in length, right angle, edge straightness, etc. Due to the expansion and contraction of ceramic tile, the moisture of mortar volatilizes. If there is no seam left, when the height difference of the edge of the ceramic tile is slightly large, the seam will be uneven visually. Seamless tiling is also easy to lead to hollowing and arching of ceramic tiles during thermal expansion and contraction, and even brick cracking in serious cases.

3. No solid tiles after paving

After the tiles are pasted on the ground, since the cement mortar is still in a semi dry state, it is necessary to knock the mortar and press it down to make the cement mortar evenly spread under the tiles, so as to avoid the uneven stress on the tiles when the cement sets, thus affecting the flatness. Many times, the paver ignored this step and didn't compact the bricks.

4. Cement mortar proportion is wrong

In traditional paving, cement and sand are usually mixed on site as adhesive, and the proportion of cement and sand is very important. If the ratio is not right, the proportion of sand is too high, or there is no adhesive in the mortar, the cement mortar will not stick to the tiles, and the floor tiles will be warped. In addition, the normal thickness error of the same ceramic tile thickness, the national standard allows the thickness error of small size ceramic tile to be 5-10%, that is to say, the error of 10 mm ceramic tile is ± 1 mm, all of which meet the national standard. If 9mm thick and 11mm thick tiles are placed together, they are not flattened when they are laid, which will cause 2mm obvious unevenness.

5. Different tile thickness

For high-end marble tiles, microcrystalline stones and antique tiles, in order to pursue the effect, they will be mixed and tiled. At this time, different series of tiles will be used. May be due to different series of ceramic tiles, the thickness of the different, in the process of paving uneven!

How to break off the uneven situation of ceramic tiles in advance

1. Test the flatness when purchasing tiles. In our daily life, we can stand two bricks together to see if there is a gap between them. If there is an obvious gap, it means that the flatness of the brick is not very good.

2. Press with a heavy object. For tiles with different thickness, use bricks and other weights to compact at the door for one night, and then it can be improved. You can also use a tile leveler to help keep the tiles level.

3. Site supervisor. We must choose a master with good craftsmanship, good reputation and reliable record. It's better to choose a familiar master! In the process of paving, once the situation is not correct, it is necessary to put forward questions and solve them in time. Pay attention to check the flatness of hollowing and joint after paving and acceptance
