1. Tile adhesive
In other words, we often say that ceramic tile adhesive, ceramic tile adhesive is better than traditional cement mortar? Why is tile glue more popular abroad and less popular at home?
Advantage 1: the bonding strength is much stronger than the traditional cement mortar, and the strength of tile adhesive is also divided into different grades of products. For floor tile and stone, traditional cement mortar is easy to be hollow and sticky, which can be solved by special adhesive.
Advantage 2: unified formula, easy to use, according to the product description, add water and stir. The cement mortar needs to be proportioned according to the experience of the mason, so the probability of error is higher.
Advantage 3: tile adhesive only needs a thin layer, much thinner than traditional cement mortar.
In fact, I personally think if it is floor tiles on the wall, full tiles (low water absorption) on the wall, stone on the wall, it is strongly recommended to use tile adhesive instead of cement mortar. Common wall brick with traditional cement mortar on the line, paving brick with cement mortar on the line.
2. teeth scraper
In fact, the tooth scraper is also commonly used in our traditional cement mortar paving. After the tile adhesive is evenly plastered with the tooth scraper, hollowing can be avoided during paving, and the fitting will be better.
3. Tile leveler
Tile leveler should be seen less in China, our construction rarely use this thing, because our clay masters rely on years of experience. At this point, I think Germany is very worthy of learning. People's experience is always unstable. Before the construction, I don't know that the master's experience is insufficient and his craftsmanship is good. If we use such small tools as tile leveler, the flatness will be more guaranteed. Just like before the ceramic tile positioning cross appears, the size of the seam is also dependent on the craftsmanship of the workers.
There are many different forms of tile leveler, and they are also sold on the Internet. Moreover, they are all recyclable and reusable, and the investment is not very large.
I personally think that the most worthy of learning is that this rigorous attitude and the method of using standardized tools to solve problems are not entirely based on human experience. Otherwise, our decoration is a project whose quality depends on luck. Fortunately, if you meet a good master, you can be satisfied. Otherwise, you can have a cup, which makes you very insecure.
Of course, this is just a good wish. The actual situation is difficult to change quickly, and there is no rigid standard. This is a long process of market self-regulation.
