How To Use Grout Float?
Using a grout trowel is an essential step in the grouting process when installing tile. Here is a general guide on how to use a grout trowel effectively:
① Once the tile is installed and the adhesive is dry, use a rubber grout trowel to scoop up some grout. Hold the trowel at a 45-degree angle and press the grout into the tile joints, making sure to fill them completely.
② Once the joints are filled, hold the trowel at a steeper angle (almost vertical) and scrape the excess grout from the surface of the tile.

③ Use a damp sponge to wipe away any excess grout from the surface of the tile. Rinse the sponge with clean water to avoid smearing grout on the tile.
④ After the grout has set for a while (usually about 20-30 minutes), use the edge of the grout trowel to shape the joints and create a smooth, even surface.
