A typical application of insert molding is to include one or more threaded metal inserts in a plastic part when a plastic part is intended to fit another part in the assembly. The separate plastic may not have enough mechanical properties to withstand the forces needed to hold the two parts together. For example, threads in plastic parts may wear out from repeated use, leading to part damage. Metal inserts help to enhance the properties of plastics and ensure reliable fastening when parts are reused. This combination of plastic and metal can take advantage of the lightness of plastic and the strength of metal.

We have our own mold workshop with a team of 24 engineers and 20 injection moulders. We maintain and repair molds daily, based on sophisticated preventative maintenance techniques. If the tool breaks we carry out rapid repairs, while tooling modifications, based on customers’ requests or improvements suggested by our business improvement and engineering teams, can be implemented quickly and efficiently.
Every mold can be tracked through its life on our tooling database and we have different areas for different size of molds. This data and identify areas the tool work be captured and interrogated.


Parts and Equipment

Horizontal injection molding machine
This is the most common type. The clamping part and the injection part are on the same horizontal centerline, and the mold is opened in the horizontal direction. Its characteristics are: the body is short, easy to operate and maintain; the center of gravity of the machine is low, and the installation is relatively stable; after the product is ejected, it can be automatically dropped by gravity, which is easy to achieve fully automatic operation. At present, most injection molding machines on the market use this type.
Vertical injection molding machine
Vertical injection molding machine is a mechanical device. Usually consists of injection system, mold clamping system, hydraulic transmission system, electrical control system, lubrication system, heating and cooling system, safety monitoring system, etc.
