1) TPU injection pay attention to the temperature when the temperature of the TPU extrusion and had significant effect on the performance of the parison: can reduce the melt viscosity, improve the liquidity of the melt, reduce the power consumption of extruder, can be appropriately increasing the screw rotation speed, without affecting the material mixing plasticizing effect, to improve the strength of the final products and brightness, is helpful to improve the transparency of final products.

However, when TPU injection molding melt temperature is too high, it will make the extrusion blank easy to produce droop phenomenon, resulting in uneven longitudinal wall thickness of the blank. Therefore, we should follow the principle to set the heating temperature of the extruder, that is, on the premise of not only extrusion smooth and uniform billet, but also not overloading the transmission system, in order to ensure that the billet has a higher melt strength, we should use a lower heating temperature as far as possible.

 

2) Pay attention to melt pressure when injection molding TPU

Melt into the nose should be under uniform pressure. Properly increasing the melt pressure in the extruder can make the material mix evenly and make the performance of the billet and the finished product stable. To control the extrusion pressure of the melt, a melt pressure measuring instrument can be installed in the discharge section of the extruder.

 

3) Pay attention to melt delivery speed when injection molding TPU

When the melt conveying speed is large, the extruder can extrude more. The droop of dead weight and the wall thickness of billet can be improved by increasing the transport speed of melt.
