Installation guide
DYTS-1 tile leveling system has been developed for the laying in thin layer with adhesive and notched trowel.

1. Placing the spacer Once the tile laid, clean the excess material and insert the spacer of the chosen width between the tile and the adhesive. It is recommended to place the spacer base the closest possible to the back of the tile.

2. Leveling the tile Place the spacers on the tiles’ corners, with a 50 mm offset from each corner. For large format tiles, it is recommended to place more than a spacer per side. Check that the tiles are even and there are no ledges between them.

3. Placing of the wedge Insert the wedge in the spacer until it fits tightly.

4. Adjusting the leveling tool Adjust the leveling tool to the thickness of the tile.

5. Joining the spacer and the wedge When the adhesive is still fresh, press the wedge into the spacer until it fits completely. Check that the adjacent tiles are at the same height.

6. Breaking of the spacer Once the adhesive set and prior to sealing the joints, break the spacer with a sharp blow in the same direction of the joint. Although it can be done with your foot, it is recommended to use a rubber mallet. The wedge will be reusable in other jobs.
