How to use underfloor heating decoupling membranes
First, before installing the underfloor heating system, make sure that the floor is level and clean. Then lay the decoupling membrane on the floor, which usually has raised structures on the surface for the underfloor heating pipes. When laying the membrane, make sure that the joints are tightly joined to avoid heat or water leaks. Tape can be used to secure the seams of the membrane to ensure stability.

Next, after the decoupling membrane is laid, place the underfloor heating pipes on the membrane according to the design requirements. The pipes can be secured by grooves or projections on the surface of the membrane to ensure that the position does not shift. Finally, the installation of the underfloor heating system is completed by covering the insulation and flooring materials above the pipes. The decoupling membrane not only reduces the stress caused by thermal expansion of the underfloor heating pipes, but also improves the comfort and stability of the underfloor heating.
